Privacy notice

Simple information, restrained data practices.

How this educational website handles the limited technical and editorial information associated with a visit.

Rivano is a static informational website about eSIM technology and travel connectivity. We aim to keep the site simple and to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information. This Privacy Notice describes the limited information practices associated with visiting rivano.world. It should be read together with the Terms of Use.

The website does not provide user accounts, private account areas, payments, purchases, connectivity services, customer service chat or activation assistance. We do not ask visitors to create a profile or provide a telephone number, payment detail, identity document or travel itinerary in order to read the editorial material. We do not use the website to operate a telecom service or maintain subscriber records.

When you visit a website, the hosting environment or delivery systems may process technical information that is ordinarily needed to serve pages, such as an IP address, browser or device characteristics, request time, referring page, error information and similar server-log data. This information may be processed for security, maintenance, abuse prevention and basic website operation. Retention and processing may be subject to the policies of the applicable hosting or infrastructure provider.

Rivano displays editorial travel photographs from direct third-party image-host URLs. When your browser requests an image from such a host, that host may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. Rivano does not control third-party hosts. If you prefer to avoid third-party image requests, you may use browser controls that limit remote content, understanding that visual presentation may be affected.

This site does not intentionally set advertising, tracking or marketing cookies through its own code. The Tailwind CSS content-delivery network and Google Fonts are loaded from third-party HTTPS services for styling and typography; those services may receive standard technical request information when the page loads. Their processing is governed by their respective policies. Browser extensions, network tools and future third-party changes may affect what a browser requests, so this statement is not a guarantee about your own local configuration.

If you choose to email [email protected], we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address, name, topic and any supporting detail. Please do not send passwords, account numbers, identity documents, sensitive personal information or urgent account problems. Editorial messages are used to respond to a correction, editorial feedback, content question or general website inquiry. Rivano cannot resolve carrier, provider, device or network account matters.

We retain editorial correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to review, respond to or maintain a record of the conversation, subject to legal, security or operational needs. We do not sell personal information. We do not build marketing profiles from reader correspondence, and we do not disclose email content except where reasonably necessary for website operation, legal compliance, protection of rights or a valid request under applicable law.

You may have privacy rights under laws that apply where you live, including rights to ask about personal information held about you, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. The availability and scope of those rights depend on applicable law and the information involved. To make a privacy-related request about correspondence you have sent, email [email protected] from the relevant address and describe your request. We may need to confirm enough information to avoid disclosing material to the wrong person.

Rivano is not directed to children and does not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact address, please notify us so that the message can be reviewed appropriately. Parents and guardians should use their own judgment when discussing connectivity, travel and online privacy with children.

This notice may change if the website’s practical operation changes. The current version is published on this page. Material changes will be reflected in updated text rather than a promise to send individual notifications. Questions about this notice may be sent to [email protected]. That address is for privacy and editorial correspondence only; it is not an official support route for a device, carrier or network service.
